Got my Kings of War rulebook in the mail this week, along with my other swag.  The book is pretty nice, although I don't think their photography is that great.  I like it better when the entire photo is in focus, not just one piece of it.  The game rules are pretty solid, and the army lists are nicely rounded out now with the addition of some generic magic items anyone can buy.

Anyway, I digress.  Anyone interested in a game this weekend?  I figured an orc list that uses almost all of my models and it comes in around 1700 pts.  Post here if interested, or your thoughts on the game itself.
I have a league Warhammer game at 10, so I'd be up for a game around 1.

If you got your book already, bring a 1700 pt list on Sunday.  I'll be playing orcs.

I'm working on a simple spreadsheet for making armies.  I've got Orcs, Twilight Kin and Elves done so far.  If you want a copy, PM me your email address.

I am going to bring 1700 points worth of dwarves tomorrow, as well.  Don't know if I will get to play, but I will have them.

So those who played the game, what did you think of it?

I really enjoyed the game a lot. It's very easy to learn but that's not a bad thing in this case and it plays very smooth and fast. The game is very bloody and usually by turn 3 or 4 most of the armies on both sides are either half gone or badly hurt. It is a fun change of pace and the rules are tight and make for good game, though armies and lists seem very dependant on match ups. I'm actually  looking in to running a small event at the store due to ease of learning the game and most people have an army they can use. I personally like the feel and game of warhammer more, but I would really like to play kings of war regularly as well. So anyone wants to play or learn to play let me know.
