LOL... Kurt, I have the upmost respect for The Mullet as I have truly seen it's magic at tournaments and leagues for many years now. When the dice and moon are alligned with The Mullet, it is a damn near unstoppable force.

Respect the hair!

Any thoughts on buildings?
The basic building rules leave quite a bit lacking, but I'm not fond of tons of impassable terrain.
Hawaiian style, we said buildings could only hold 20 wounds of models.  Yeah, an orc great shaman takes up 3 spots; he doesn't like to be crowded.  That general of the empire likewise takes up 3 spots, he's spralled out at the bar with his feet on the table.

By limiting building to 20 wounds of models, it let smaller units move up field without being blocked off, but avoided anything too crazy with death stars in buildings.
It also let magic and machines properly thin out anything that tried to bunker down.

RE: Buildings...we could also limit to something like 10 wounds per story or some such.

I would like to suggest that this years basement teams bowl are strong than the playoff teams... in fact i would wager that the winner of the basement bowl could take on the winner of the "playoffs" and beat them...

@ Jeremy...I think that Pat and Matt, were pretty much making a dig at me for my 2nd appearance in the Basement Bowl....but I am here with pretty good company...Tom, Carlos & Gordon...all long standing and experienced league players.

Pat and Matt are pretty much just a little jealous, cuz all eyes are on us :P

Matt brings up a good point.  We don't have buildings on the terrain charts.  We should.  They are part of the rules, and other people use them, including other SoCal tournaments, including the Bash.  It would help local players get used to using the building rules.  The idea of limiting the # of wounds in a building is fine if we don't want to just dive in and use them per the book.

I'd like a few buildings to brush up on the rules, myself.  However, I don't like that "olny 10 wounds a floor" bit.  Little rough on the ogres.  It would mean that we could only have a single lord-character and a single ogre fighting.

And you don't think a single ogre lord wouldn't clean house vs 10 one wound infantry?
