Eager to play out of division games.  Anyone want to play this weekend?

Had a great game yesterday against someone I'd never played before - Jonathan Jenkins and his Blood Angels.  Pulled the win.  Hope to play him again.

It was the classic matchup of Orks vs Guard. Deployment was Spearhead. Josh wins the dice for 1st turn.
Josh's Orks 2 sets of Lootas each backed up by a Mek with a Shokk attak gun, 3 sets of Grot Cannons, Snikrot with 15 Commandos, and a bunch of Boyz (2 mpbz of 30 and 3 of 15).
The IG had a 20 man blob , PCS w 4 flamers in a Chimera, CCS w 4 Melta guns in a Chimera, 2 Melta-Vets in Chimeras, 1 Plasma-Vet in Chimera, 2 Hellhounds, 1 Vendetta, Colossus, Manticore, Leman Russ Executioner, and a Psyker Battle Squad.
All those ranged flamers, big templates that ignore cover, and other pie plates should make it easy for the guard.
Turn 1 Kelly fails to sieze and Josh goes first.
Boyz move up then the shooting starts. The smoke clears and due to the inability to make cover saves both Hellhounds are now weaponless and the Vendetta has exploded, along with the CCS Chimera (killing 2 flamers; the CCS breaks and runs away. Kelly manuevers for shots and the vaunted IG kill 3 orks. Big pie plates scattering into areas where no orks are at.
Turn 2 sees more Chimeras getting immobilized and stunned from shooting that would make Lysanders Bolter Drill look downright Grot-like. The Guard responds with better shooting and manages to break one of the Grot cannon teams. The CCS rallies and moves into cover.
Turn 3 see's the Ork shooting becoming more Ork-like, although several Chimera's remain stunned with turrets shot off.
The IG finally get the range. A squad of 30 Boyz gets cut down to 10 and the Psykers (now reduced to 5) drop their Ld to 5. Another group of 15 get cut down when the Leman Russ came in from reserves and hit them with heavy flamers and plasma love. A squad of 15 Lootas get chopped down to 7 with a nicely scattered Collosus shot. Yep 3 squads of boyz chopped down to less than half ready for lots of dice rolls. Every squad makes their Ld rolls...including the Ld5 Boyz.
Turn 4 adds injury to insult when the broken Grots (above half strength) make their Ld and regroup (at this point I now have zero KPs and Josh has 5-6), then sees Snikrot come in and set up the blob-squad for flaming love. The Boyz hit by the Russ charge the Psykers and kill 3 (meaning I cant hit that squad with the Russ on my turn). A Mek shoots himself across the table into base contact with a Chimera...free assault anyone? Snikrot flames the IG blob the charges the dudes along with the Collosus that didn't move (he torched enough dudes that the wall-o-men gapped open so he could get to the vehicles). The Colossus explodes and the IG Blob are wiped out. The remnants of the 30 boy squad that survived the psyker Ld nerf charge some melta vets that got out of their ride to assist with the previous round of shooting. Combat was tied.
The guard respond by moving the Manticore's Heavy Flamer, the Plasma Vet Chimera (Hvy Flamer) and the plasma vets into a kill box. A weaponless Hellhound tankshocks a 15 Boy mob into a group as it moves to contest an objective. The Russ moves to take aim on the now packed boyz with plasma love. A love that scatters and kills 2 boyz. The 2nd Melta vet squad sets up to shoot as many of the remaining 2nd big mob squad and take the charge to them. The Commandos are killed down to snikrot who breaks and runs. The Plasma vets retake the home objective. Much shooting reduces the 2nd 30 boy group down to about 12. The Psykers are killed off as are the 1st Melta vets. The 2nd Melta Vets charge and kill a few Bpyz, who then kill off 9 dudes and sweep the squad on failed Ld and failed Initiative rolls.
Turn 5 has the Boyz position to take objectives, the Leman Russ getting wrecked by a PK nob, the Hellhound contesting getting wrecked by lucky Boyz who glanced it to death before the PK got a chance to make it explode. The IG CCS and PCS kill the remaing Lucky Boyz who survived the PBS and Melta-vet assault.
The game ends with a tie on C&C objectives and a tie on Battle Objectives. Josh took KPs easy for a 10-5 win.

Huge keg of Ale to the Lottas for neutering both Hellhounds before they ever got a shot off and the Grot Cannons for killing the Vendetta AND rallying to deny a KP.

What happens when there is a tie in the playoffs? I assume you just play again...

Tied Records will be broken by Head to Head record (have you beaten the person you are tied with in League
play?) will be used. If the players never played, then in‐Division records as a tie‐breaker.
