Ben and Geoff making some headway in the top division, still anyone's games.

Once in division games are finished we'll be moving onto the two out of division games.

We're so far ahead of the Pasadena guys.

Updated Results from the weekend.

Looks like Vulcan division will be the first to finish.

George, Doug and Cooper have some games to get in!

Kelly and Roger split a game; 10 for Kelly and 5 for Roger.
Roger ran a very inovative GK list...Mordrak with 5 Ghosts and a Libby attached. 5 Termies in a Storm Raven. 6 Termies in a Land Raider. 10 Termies deep striking. The twist? Every Termy was kitted with a Daemonhammer. Knicknamed "Grey Wing"...sort of a DA Deathwing with Psychics.
Fortunately I killed his Libby before he was able to summon (or DS in using the Libby's homer) the 10 termies into the middle of my army, but not before he got a double shot on Warp Quake and blew up an Executioner and took the main gun off a Medusa in 1 shot.
I ended up taking both sets of objectives while Roger racked up the KPs.

I played my last division game against DannyL yesterday and it was a tough struggle!  Thanks for a great game Danny. I am looking forward to my 'out of division' games.  The Masters League has been a bucket of fun so far.  The three objective format is really good.  Russ said that it fixed the 5th ed mission system and I think he's right!  ~ben

Some hot Guard on Guard action happening. John vs Kelly. Kelly wins the roll of and deploys Pitched battle, all the objectives in a line down the center. John reserves 2 of 3 Vendettas, each with a flamerx2/melta x2 PCS AND a squad of Ogrins all outflanking (Ogrins getting Scouts thanks to CRREEEEEED!!!!).
Turn 1 Kelly kills a Medusa. John turns around and immobilizes the Vendetta that shot the Medusa.
Turn 2 Kelly stuns that Vendetta, then...
John Gets Both Vendettas AND the Ogrin on. To make matters worse they all come in on the corner where Kelly deployed. 1 PCS torches Kelly's blob squad and kills 17 guys outright with flamers. The Ogrin shred the Manticore with Ripper guns to side armor. 1 Vendetta kills the Medusa and the other cracks the Command Chimera.
Kelly maneuvers in turn 3 to set up a multi-unit charge on Johns center blob squad while a Melta-vet unit kills the stunned Vendetta. The Command squad immobilizes another Vendetta. John asaults the remnants of the command squad and the blob squad with the Ogrins and kills them off. His 3rd Vendetta pops the turret off a Leman Russ Executioner.
Kelly move in on turn 4 and kills Johns Manticore, toasts a rump squad of 10 guys (who the Psykers then break) and meltas a Hydra.
John gets off "For the honor of cadia" and multi-charges the Plasma-vets and a melta-vet squad and kills them off with his 30 man blob.
Kelly calls the game as he now cant pull John off his home objective, can't catch up in kill points, and can only hold 1 objective while John has 2 turns to move 6" to hold the other 2.
John scores 15 while Kelly gets skunked.
