I've been playing since 1976. Looking for a game in the north county of san diego. Oceanside area would be nice. 1 or 2 times per month on Saturday night. My nephew and I would like to play. My nephew learned on 2.0 as I did (since I did the dming). We just started to learn 3.5. If there is a game available or is starting we are interested.

You might want to look at the pathfinder system.  It's a cleaned up version of 3.5; and the whole thing is online so the rules are free.

I would agree on the Pathfinder. How far are you willing to travel?What are the ages of you and your nephew

I,m not sure what pathfinder is. Is it on line only or do we play in person (Which is what I want). Our ages are I'm 59 and my nephew is 36.

I live in Chula Vista, I woould be willing to go as far as oceanside. My nephew live in Santa Ana, he was coming down to Chula Vista to play so oceanside area would be half the distance for him.
Where do you have in mind to play?

Pathfinder is 3.5e on steriods lots of fun and adventure. We have a new game starting every other saturday. We are starting at first level through fifth.Home brew campaigh in desert setting involving outer plane encouters at the higher levels. email me directly telltom@yahoo.com
