Heya, Crimson. A few buddies and I have been looking for a D&D 3.5 group to join with; we've been having a few issues with our current DM, and so wanted to look around for a new one. Looks like we lucked out!

Curious, though. To what lengths do you allow people to play the game? I mean, there have been /tons/ of expansion books, from Complete (subject) to Stormwrack. We're curious as to whether or not you allow prestige classes (Yeah, that's one of the issues with our last DM), whether or not you allow races outside of the traditional seven, and whether or not you'll allow base classes and prestige classes from books such as Complete Scoundrel or Complete Arcane.

We're willing to roleplay our characters out, and we're pretty proficient with the dice and the rules already, so there's no need to worry about that. Here's hoping you'll take interest in us. :D

pretty much my onlt rule is you have to have it in a book. if you can find something in a book you can do it. I definately allow other classes from other books and other races. my rule about prestige classes is you have to learn it from an NPC. you dont just become a deep woods sniper over night you need to learn how from someone. but I try to be pretty accomidating as far as these things go (I have a player going prestige next session). I have been encouraging people to use the complete scoundrel actually. I love the book and the skill trick system. So pretty much as long as it is 3.5 you can do it. The campaign right now is Hordes of the abyss, pretty demon heavy, but the players are only level 5 so it wont be hard to integrate you in. send me a message with some of your contact info and we can get together for coffee or something to meet and see how it will work.

I'm a single parent and I haven't played D&D in over ten years. Is there any way I could join? I won't be able to commit that many hours to play a game but I might be able to show up around 7pm.

Depending on where you play, I would also be interested in this game if you get any spots open.

we are pretty full but we have been looking to add a player who would also be interested in GMing a campaign after the one we are on is over. We may be able to sqeeze you in if you fit that discription. give me a PM if you are intersted.
