Let's see...  150 points gets me a troops choice...  That leaves me 600 points for 5 full units of chaos spawn which don't take FOC slots!

Then my tank goes here so its the closest enemy, and I'll kill off your space marines at my leisure.

Yes, you can use your Armoured Company.

Especially since there *might* be objectives.

I honestly didn't notice the discrepancy with the thread title and just thought this was in late December.

So it was last night?  Ah well.

Wesley got best overall, Mike La Costa won best sportsman, and some guy I don't know (Steven?) won best painted.

That would be me.  I hadn't been at GE for 40k in several years.  Funny enough, one of the last folks I played before that drought was Mike L'frog, whose storm troopers executed a brilliantly destructive break from being shot at, managing to flee just far enough to not get caught in CC by kroot, and regrouping the next turn to reap some serious hurt upon my poor inexperienced Shas'el.  All-in-all, I had a good time, and hopefully I can become a GE regular again.
When in doubt, empty your clip.
